A one-day total stones event between Utica and Rochester. The highest total combined team stones determine the winner. The event is played at Rochester and Utica, alternating sites each year; host club plays first stone of the first end. Each team curls two 6-end games; ties are not played off. Trophy presentations: Utica-Rochester Friendly Cup (winner), "The Monkey" (runner-up).

Standing Utica Rochester Friendly Rules

• This is a one-day total points event between Utica and Rochester. The highest total combined team points determine the winner.
• The event is played at alternating sites each year between Utica and Rochester.
• Each team will curl two 6-end games.
• Ties will not be played off.
• When hosted in Utica, Rochester plays last stone of the first end (as courtesy), Utica plays red stones.
• Trophy presentations:
  • Utica-Rochester Friendly Cup, winner.
  • “The Monkey,” runner-up.
